How do you properly put on (don) and take off (doff) disposable gloves?

- Donning gloves
- Hand hygiene: Wash and dry your hands thoroughly or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Ensure your hands are completely dry before proceeding.
- Inspect the gloves: Remove the gloves from the box and inspect them for any tears or damage.
- Put on the first glove: Hold the glove by the cuff (the edge that goes around your wrist). Slide one hand into the glove.
- Put on the second glove: Use your now-gloved hand to pick up the second glove by the cuff. Slide your other hand into the second glove.
- Adjust for fit: Adjust both gloves so the cuffs cover your wrists. Avoid touching the exterior (outside) of the gloves with your bare skin once they are on.
- Doffing gloves
- Grasp the cuff: Using one gloved hand, pinch the outside of the other glove near the cuff (at the wrist).
- Peel off first glove: Pull the pinched glove off your hand, turning it inside out as you remove it.
